Long-form films, documentary storytelling, and thoughtful production.
I’m Corie DuChateau — a filmmaker, photographer, and producer based in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. I create cinematic work for people, places, and brands who care about depth, meaning, and lasting impact.
This is not high-volume content.
It’s intentional storytelling, built with time, trust, and clarity.
WHAT I DO
I work with clients who value:
- narrative over noise
- process over speed
- collaboration over transactions
My background spans documentary films, television shows, branded storytelling, podcasts, and select weddings. While the formats vary, the approach stays the same: listen first, build trust, and let the story unfold naturally.
Most of my projects are long-form and relationship-driven. I take on a limited number of productions each month to protect the quality of the work and the experience for everyone involved.
HOW I WORK
Every project begins with conversation.
We talk about:
- what matters
- what needs to be said (and what doesn’t)
- timelines that respect the story
- budgets that respect the work
From there, I assemble the right creative team, scale the production intentionally, and guide the project from concept through delivery.
No rushing.
No unnecessary complexity.
Just clear agreements and well-made work.
WHO THIS IS FOR
This work is a good fit if you:
- want something that will still feel relevant years from now
- understand that good stories take time
- prefer fewer deliverables done well over many done quickly
- are open to collaboration and trust the process
If you’re looking for the cheapest option or instant turnaround, I’m probably not the right fit — and that’s okay.
BASED IN PUERTO VALLARTA. WORKING EVERYWHERE.
While I’m based in Puerto Vallarta, I work with clients throughout Mexico, the U.S., and internationally. Some projects are rooted deeply in place; others travel.
Story has no borders.
